Randy's Journal

By RandyChild

Now for the fun part

I have wound the warp, put it onto the back beam, threaded the heddles, sleyed the reed and tied the warp onto the front, or cloth beam. Now it's on to the actual weaving. The bit you see on the front of the warp is the header. It is woven with larger yarn or thread, and its purpose is to space the warp and even it up. It will be taken out when the project is taken off the loom.
