The Moon is Out Today
The morning was so lovely sunny with no wind. After taking my library books back I took a short walk along the Avon to catch the last of the Autumn colours before the strong winds arrived that have been predicted.
Late this afternoon the strong winds started. So far the gusts are not too strong here in the city. There has been warnings put out for other part of Canterbury for gusts up to 140 km/h. The MetService is warning tornados could strike parts of the West Coast. So it sure is rough in parts of the country just now.
In my extra shot it shows some leaves seem to being falling without turning yellow this year. Must because it has been so dry.
