A very social day

Wow, what a day I've had! I've met with various friends today on a perfect weather day. Been a great day.

First off, helping a friend with the menu for her 50th birthday celebration. She asked me if I would help and I was thrilled as I've eaten in that particular restaurant a few times and she's only been once! Happy to advise, I mean oblige;-).

Then lunch at a brand new restaurant in DB called MooFish. Obviously a seafood restaurant. Food was deeeelicious and my friend very kindly bought me lunch. I was super touched.

Then a quick meet up with some other friends at the tables in the Plaza and we couldn't help notice how perfect the weather was. Really enjoyed being out there. And as per usual, yet more friends passed by and stopped to say hello. I love living here.

Home quickly to cook dinner for the kids before heading out AGAIN!!! This time for happy hour at Hemingways, where I was two days ago. Another lovely evening with more friends, beautiful breeze, no humidity. A very good day :).

All I had time to take a photo of today was the very blooming peonies I got for the ladies event on Tuesday. They're a lot more white than the pic shows.
