Speedboat!

Spent a lovely day in sunny Whitby today, in celebration of H2's special birthday.

It's so good to get away from the city and into the fresh air for a day. I'd forgotten just how pretty (and busy!) Whitby is and it was great to see it in sunshine :-)

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the all-too-brief trip on this speedboat. Closely folowed by fish, chips, mushy peas and a pot of tea in the Magpie and a Mr Whippy 99er.
