We wondered why

a lot of shops/cafes in Stowe-on-the-Wold were closed and so much Police activity, so we asked couple of P.C's and were informed there was a travellers week-end craft fair nearby, some businesses were taking advantage and refurbishing. Instead of Burford we visited Batsford arboretum(3 plants bought) then onto Broadway park where this picture was taken, it was very hot hence the distance haze.
