Woburn parish church

The most striking thing about the church of St Mary the Virgin in Woburn is not the bells - although at lunch time today they were going like the clappers - a test apparently.

No - it’s the proliferation of red that simply cannot be missed.  Doors, lamp posts and even a phone box. 

I have no idea why, but apparently this church is not unique in its redness.  I’m sure some blipper, knowledgeable in the ways of the church, will enlighten me.

After blipping this Anniemay and I had a pleasant lunch with Blacktulip and JJ.  Which is another reason for blipping.
