Whitecurrant blossom
More sun. A few hours working. Our old friend J. arrived with another friend and had tea with us. I seem to have a lot of outdoor and garden energy and every minute not out in the light seems a deprivation.
Owing to the discovery of sawfly caterpillars on the gooseberry bushes, some of which have migrated to the adjoining whitecurrants, I have spent rather a lot of time lying on my back on the ground looking up. It is the best way of detecting the little blighters. It dawned on me just how pretty the blossoms are
