Dessert and cocktails.....

...at The Savoy this evening for myself and an 'old' colleague and dear friend. A fantastic birthday gift which I was delighted to share! 

We talked for hours and she urged me to join her in the wonderful world beyond the classroom; it certainly sounded tempting.We long outstayed our allotted slot but it wasn't busy and we were well looked after in very comfortable surroundings. 

Home just after tomorrow became today...so this is back-blipped.
