Thursday: Lilac Blossom

Up early this morning with a plan to clear one of the deep beds and plant the remaining potatoes (Pentland Javelin) - those I planted a few weeks ago have only just come through.
MrD had a plan too and went off on his motorbike!
I carried on and planted another deep bed with Field Beans and Forage peas. Both are sold as green manure but I prefer to let them mature and enjoy the tasty veg.
Sat outdoors to eat my lunch and dinner, it really is hot and sunny but the forecast is for cooler weather.
