Currant Affairs

Enjoyed a couple of hours pottering about at the allotment this afternoon. Planted the fig tree, planted some spuds in the ex-fig tree pot, finished digging over and weeding the bed where the rest of the spuds are going, did the first hoeing of the year and gave the currant bushes a late prune. As I said, just pottering.

Then out for a bowling match this evening and finally played well. A bit late in the season but better late than never and it meant Rab and me won our doubles match. I've got two singles matches next week so I hope the new found form continues! And the Jambos won as well, just the one game left on Sunday.
