Back in hospital

Elliott and I spent the day at the hospital today in the children's acute assessment unit. It sounds much scarier than it is. He had a high jaundice reading at 2 weeks old which requires tests and follow up. We are yet to get the final results as the lab was backed up so they discharged us early. They were pretty confident he'd be fine when we left.
I was very impressed with the ward and all the staff. It is a really comfortable safe feeling place for sick kids.
