Day 134/16.Summer is upon us.

Not even my macro lens today, this with my walkabout zoom. Maybe 4cm long.
Its always a great sign that summer has arrived when these stunning little things arrive around our pond. We seem to see these over a three month period so they are around regularly.
Whoever named them though had 0% creativity in their genes..... this is the Small Red Damselfly....... Surely they could have thought of something better than that?
