Sailing - Bye !

This is from the era when pictures used to be called ‘grainy’.  It is taken from our bedroom and shows a vessel skimming past Flotta.  Although Scapa Flow appears to be sparkling there is a stiff cold northerly wind.  The Flotta Community Turbine in the background.  It’s also the Flotta Community 10k and 5k races this Sunday (seamless it’s not).  CMC is going across for the day to lead a walk.

Today CMC is across at a meeting of the Friends of the Hoy Kirk; she’ll be back about 10.30 p.m.

Zibby is sneaking in a pair of fish suppers before she returns home.  Although with her forensic ability (issued to all women at birth) she’ll know what we’ve been up to.

Harry is 1 year old today.

I booked a passage to Shetland for July.  And the reason I did ?  Because I was told to.
