The Free French Memorial

Lucky I was there early(ish), as moments later that big bank of cloud merged together, blocking all the light and stayed there until well after sunset.

I found out on the way home (despite having lived in Greenock for about 10yrs many years ago) that Lyle Rd (where this was shot), runs round and becomes the street where my wee gran (I had a wee gran and a big gran) used to live. Brought back memories of more carefree days. She passed away on holiday with my Mum 22 years ago to the day (another story in and of itself).
