Evening along the canal

A little walk this evening after taking KK to football, no children swimming tonight as it is much colder today. At least it is bright this evening and we have had no rain.

The bad news is the oystercatcher eggs did not make it, the nest is empty. I assume they were off too many times and a gull got them. The oystercatchers are still hanging around so I expect them to lay again as it's early yet. I'll keep a look out.
