Gold! Synchronised Swimming

At the 33rd LEN European Swimming Championships (in the Olympic Park, London), I met the delightful Svetlana Kolesnichenko. She had won gold for Russia in the Team event for synchronised swimming.
 
Her English was first rate, she was so friendly and her willingness to grant me a photo made it a real pleasure to meet her. I am humbled when I think of my own language skills beyond my own mother tongue!  :-/
