Flower Friday

Flower Friday has been a given a twist this week "from the kitchen". This evening I was preparing a traditional Hare in Sour Cream Sauce (in the kitchen) for lunch tomorrow. I ducked out to my new herb garden to pick some thyme and rosemary for the dish. The thyme is half covered in tiny flowers and I thought they would suit the kitchen theme. This little garlic mortar and pestle was given to me by a friend in Australia and is a favourite piece in my kitchen. I think it looks very pretty with the thyme in it. I used my light box again which is becoming very handy for photographing little things, particularly at night when there is no natural light..
