Blue Pacific

I think this warm, clear day is the bluest I’ve ever seen at the Oregon coast. Cobalt blue, intense, vibrating blue. Pacific Ocean blue. On the rock beach where the Yachats River meets the sea, the fishermen line up ready to catch something. I didn’t see anything being caught, but it was a great day to be there.
