Purple shamrock

One of my favourite house plants is an Oxalis regnellii, or purple shamrock, originally given to me as a cutting by a friend who lives in Yorkshire. I thought I had lost last winter, when it went dormant and shed most of its leaves, but after some TLC and spring sunshine it is thriving again -hooray!

Friday the 13th is nearly over and no mishaps, but just in case I'll tread carefully heading upstairs to bed!
