Love cats

This is the building at the centre of Aden Park. (Pronounce Ahdenn not Ayden)
We went there today with Janine, for lunch. The food, as usual, was great. What wasn't great was the service. It wasn't that busy in the cafe, but it took so long to make one roast beef sandwich and a cheese toastie, that June didn't have time to finish hers. She had to get Janine back to the village as she started her work at 3.
It won't deter us from going back; we will just have to leave a bit more time the next time.
One place I will NOT be going to, is the new cafe in Guestrow in Aberdeen. It is one of these places that are fashionable nowadays called cat cafes. They are named so because they always have quite a few cats in residence. Good idea maybe, but what makes it a pretentious and greedy establishment is the fact, and remember it is just a coffee house basically, the fact that it is bookings only, you pay £5.10 per person on booking, you only get to stay an hour, meaning that those booked in for 1300 hrs all have to leave at 1400 hrs. On top of that you have to buy a coffee or other beverage and accompanying food if needed. On top of being charged ripped off for booking.
You aren't allowed to pick up the cats unless they jump on the table you are at. I do like cats, but if one tried to jump on the table that I am eating at, well, let's leave it there.
You can pet them though. No thanks, not for a fiver.
