Bursty thing

This morning I had a bit of a sleep in, at 09:30 I got a call out; a burst main in Geraldine. By the time I finished my breakfast and got underway, it was after 13:00 before we broke ground. It had taken a bit of time to organise a digger operator and resources without even knowing what we were in for.
Once exposed we had to repair a 63mm OD (2 inch in imperial) and a 50mm OD (1 1/2 inch Imperial) which took a bit of time to fix. Water on, Job made safe and home by 20:30. This is the 2 inch gate valve that caused the problem.
