Sunbath

Mabel is such a good little dog!  Not one peep from her last night when we put her in her crate, and no accidents to clean up when we let her out this morning.  We took her directly out to walk on Boston Common, and we stayed out there for over an hour waiting for her to pee and/or poop, but nothing came of it!  She chased several birds and a couple of squirrels, tried to play with some other small dogs being walked by their owners, and jumped up on our legs to try to tell us she really would like to go back inside, because all that wet grass was tickling her tummy.  Eventually we gave up and came back to the apartment where we gave her some breakfast.  Then she happily sauntered into the living room, and squatted on the white rug for a good leisurely pee!  A lot of flapping around with paper towels and squirt bottles on my part, and a quick scoop up and return to the Common on Mr. W's part ... half an hour later they came back ... still no action in the bathroom department!!!  We'll figure it all out eventually.

Right now, the poor little thing is conked out in a patch of sunlight on the kitchen floor -- exhausted by all this outdoor exercise!
