a family....

of Thrushes is living in my garden...for the last couple of days the parents have been teaching the fledglings to find worms...in these pictures you can see one of the babies having a snooze in the grass while waiting for the meal, being woken by parent calls, feeding....then looking for more !  I was surprised they spent so much time on the ground..and.hoping my cats wouldn't appear....
