Tunnel ahoy
The day started well, with scrambled eggs on toast, but soon descended into farce as I failed to locate the anti-hotspot tape needed to prepare the tunnel frame. While I rushed off to Biggar, Nick and Owen did some work on the bothie, replacing the ratchet straps that hold the roof on with fencing wire.
I returned with draught tape from Boa's - very thin, but better than nothing. The sun beat down as we put the tape on and generally readied the frame for the polythene. It went one easily enough, and the finished product is 'nae bad'.
