Heron and Bristolwalkfest

We went on an 11 mile walk today entitled Discover East Bristol- Hills, Views and Rivers....and it was fabulous. A mix of ultra urban and rural and all less than one and a half miles from the centre of the city. Walking through several Victorian parks ( including Eastville and the home of the Heron ) and urban streets of different era and only time to feel tired at its finish. From Troopers Hill through to Stoke Park and back . Have I said it was fabulous?
