Family fun, Forties fashion

What great day we had at Haworth 40's Weekend.
If we had actually planned it, it couldn't have gone any smoother.
Despite a dodgy phone signal, all four of us, Beewriter, Lady G. (Gaynor), Lovelupins17 (aka Sonja) and I, all managed to meet up within minutes of arriving at the Yorkshire town of Haworth, where, every year, they hold a fabulous forties extravaganza. 
This photo of a family summed up the event for me; fabulous families having forties style fun.
And what's more - next year we plan to dress ourselves in vintage gear and really join in the fun. There now, we've said it out loud so it MUST be true.
