This is what the rubble/hardcore is called which they've started spreading throughout before the concrete goes down later in the week. A couple of pumps have been installed and the wood for the drainage channels round the edge is ready and waiting in the skip outside for some reason - whether it will still be there in the morning is another matter.

I'm doing Aromatherapy at college this week so am glad to escape the bashing and grunting for a while.
