"Our Place"

"Making memories with you is my favorite thing to do."
~ Jordy Daniel

As today was Gilles' and my fourth wedding anniversary, a trip to Lock Haven for our traditional dinner date at Fox's Market House restaurant was definitely on the agenda.
You see, Fox's is where we went for our first dinner together as husband and wife following our wedding ceremony in Judge Maggs' chambers across from the courthouse. We have returned to "our" restaurant for a romantic anniversary dinner every year since.
The historic 2 1/2 story brick Market House was constructed in 1871 by the Lock Haven Hall & Market Company for the purpose of operating a farmer's market. The Romanesque-style building, which was completed in only six months, features corner towers, arched and keystoned windows, brick friezes, pointed towers and dormers.
I took more of a "tree oriented," corner view pic, so not all of these elements are readily visible, but it really is a cool and unique building.
