People's Climate Conference

I believe this weekend people all over the world are protesting fossil fuels and the impact they are having on weather. In Anacortes where my brother Dave lives, there is a three day event of protest at the two refineries there. We are not participating but we did see folks on the railway line and at a large meeting hall as we drove into town and later took a walk. Nora is in Connecticut celebrating her 40th anniversary of graduation with a masters degree from nursing school. Dave stayed home so Arvin and I went down to visit with him and eat dinner together. I took a few photos and this is one from our walk.

Earlier in the day we took Mehitabel in to have her teeth checked. She has healed really well since her surgery. The cats were delighted to be back on dry food and treats now that Mitty can eat hard food again.
