So this is the finals of a global Starcraft tournament called the North American Starleague. It's sort of interesting how I got here.

Starcraft is a computer game I used to play, and I was a member of a website that followed the game played professionally in Korea. At one point in time, staff for the site noticed that I had above-internet writing skills, and once in a while I was asked to write something. Fast forward to the present, with the release of Starcraft 2, and the game has become their weird niche sport with enough money to actually support a handful of players to play professionally. I was asked if I would go to Toronto to cover the finals of this big event, which of course I did. It was pretty fun!
