Truro Cathedral is built on the site of the Parish Church of St Mary 1259 and is a church within a church
The beautiful building seen today is built in the Victorian Gothic-style - the stones of which where laid down in 1880 - when the cathedral was built it incorporated part of the original Tudor church into its fabric
It has the world's biggest stained glass project
