Boquet of bokeh

Walked with D this moning - a very pleasant 9.00am start and 70 minutes around Monaco in beautiful conditions was a great start to the day.

Home, breakfast, blip taken on the back lawn (still thick with dew from the cooler night) a few domestic catch-ups, shower then it was time to head to town where I was acting as a ticket collector for the big netball game in town - Tactix v Magic.  Great fun on the door but not quite so fun to see the local Tactix team go down by one goal in the final minutes.

Stayed for the second match of the day - a Beko National League game, helped a little with the clean and tidy up after the match then home.  Pretty much a 6-hour day at the netball, mostly spent on my feet.  After the walk this morning and the netball this afternoon/evening my feet are really feeling like they'd like an early night so I'm going to treat them :)

Why are weekends so short....??!  My lawns remain unmown, the gardens remain unweeded, the house remains largely undusted and the carpets remain unvacuumed (ok, ok - so the vacuuming is more a  consequence of my vacuum being in pieces at the moment waiting on a spare part than on a lack of time to do it but you get the gist).
