Journey to Jade mountain

The day started with yummy pancakes, followed by a 3 hour walk. This time on the road but still with some spectacular views. We took a ferry across the Yangtze river and then the coach up the winding roads towards Jade Mountain. We stopped for photos at a beautiful bright blue lake. Some students were suffering from altitude sickness now too. So a few had to stay behind. Then we continued to the cable car. After a long wait for tickets we took 2 cable cars up the mountain.  It was cold, snowy and 4500 meters above sea level. See extra of a panorama of the view form the top.
