Experiments in Soda Bread

A friend and fellow eczema-bearer gave me the recipe for this soda bread, which contains no yeast - which is good as yeast acidifies the body, presumably with all the CO2 it produces.

To be honest I didn't expect it to turn out half as well as it did, and I have a loaf to put in the freezer too (amongst the 2 frozen cookie doughs!).
