Pieris japonica

Some days you take many photographs and end up not being very happy with any of them.

Usually that means, as here, going out into the garden.
This Pieris japonica always puts on a good show. It comes from China and Japan and is a member of the Heather family.

My extra today is the well known corkscrew Swan.
