Not The Way I Wanted To Spend Saturday

By and large I enjoy being the Falmouth RNA Branch Chairman but there are some days when I think "Oh Dear", today being one of them.
A ninety-five mile round trip to attend a two and a half hour meeting at which we have little input, what we do put forward has little or no impact nor do we receive much by the way of information.
Two instances come to mind, a pompous ass who loves the sound of his own voice declared; "All the Cornish Branches need a good kick up the rear" and three people asking the same question using different words were blatantly ignored with the phrase; "But what do you do for the RNA?"
Well aside from attending these meetings it's about the Branch not 'upper' committees who seem out of touch with those they claim to represent.

I arrived home from Liskeard at around six, out to the supermarket and then wraps, one of the children's favourites, for dinner.
An evening with the papers and TV as well as 'mourning' the mighty Quins drubbing in the cup final yesterday.

On the whole I've had better days.
