Fossil Hunting

What a fab last minute idea of a day! F2 has been learning about dinosaurs at school and has become really obsessed with them (apparently he's the class expert now). So today we went to Kings Dyke Nature Reserve and went fossil hunting. We got a real stash. The EF'ers loved it.

The one minus was that I forgot that F1 had been invited to O's to play. Until his mum texted me to ask if he was still coming (we were still and hour away). However, we made up for it by having O over for tea and manic Lego/hide and seek/ general loudness this evening.

Life is swell.
