Bird on a Wire

This caught my eye as I was driving through Christchurch.  The real thing is flying away in the distance, but there was something a bit odd about this swooping falcon.  Then I spotted the wire.  I guess it's meant to discourage small birds from flying into the framework of the building and getting trapped.
