Proud Pilot!!

Today I was finally sent on my first solo flight in a glider. I have been gliding on and off for some time now and this has been a long time in the making.

After doing a few check flights with my instructor (Luke Dale), he decided I was ready. So I did my checks and before I knew it I was away!

I was airborne for 7mins which for the first time, won't sound like long. However being all by my self for the first time, felt like 7 hours!!

All of this today was completed in an Schleicher ASK 21. With the reg G-CLPV. Tail number LPV. Flown from PNGC.

This is certainly one flight I will never forget, but it's the first of many on the road to flying!!
