Before and after.

Today started well with a lovely full English breakfast cooked by Mom. We had an hour chatting to Bob and Julie before heading to the house. An invite to the park and pub almost tempted me not to go, but I had to make the most of the weather and finish painting the window. Several people stopped and commented on how lovely our windows were and how well we are doing. The photo shows the old wooden window and damaged lintel and the new upvc Windows and stone sill we had made to match (hopefully it's clear which is which). I think the new ones look very similar which is what we wanted and I'm quite pleased with the colour we finally picked.
Stu took all the nails out of the joists in the lounge, cleaned all the junk out the rooms and had a clear up in the garden.
This evening Stu and I have been to Miller and Carter to use up the voucher Gem got us for Christmas. As always it was delicious.
