RAY OF SUNSHINE

This is a seedling maple of unknown parentage that I very nearly pulled out, but I am jolly glad I didn't ! It is the last tree to hold its leaves & is such a bright beacon in the garden. Don't you love it ?

Lyn became an 'old age pensioner' last week, really ? & as part of the celebration, shouted 4 of us to the flicks - we laughed our way through "Eddie the Eagle" ! It was raining when we went in, & raining when we came out; & must have rained all night because I measured over an inch of rain. You will know how happy I am.......love every drop. As it is still raining (!) will do what Devon Dumpling recommends, go & see "Florence Foster Jenkins" this afternoon; she said Hugh Grant is excellent. Have to fit in a flu injection before that though. Oh the rain is .....weird.....& wonderful......but I will never complain.
