Summer at Last

At last Summer seems to have arrived with the promise of at least a week of warm settled weather coinciding with the start of the school holidays.
Dozens of families were enjoying traditional beach pastimes next to The Green in Cowes along with many yachts enjoying the light airs.
I had gone down to photograph the start of the Superyacht series of races featuring some of the worlds biggest yachts but light winds and the race starting well away from the shore made it a less than exciting event. Maybe I'll have better luck later in the week.
