That darned machine!

A mixed day with sun and cloud and on the cold side.

Back blip for yesterday.

Al was at his son's all day and I went and spent the day with my mum.   She had gotten lamb chops and blackcurrant cheesecake for dinner.

I took a pair of black trousers I brought with me as they have always needed taking up half an inch or so and thought it time I did.

Once cut off I tackled mums sewing machine to do the zigzag stitching.   I swear that machine does not like me!   Every time I use it it plays up.   After about an hour we left it alone and had a cuppa.   My mums remedy for everything!   Anyway, we changed the thread and bobbin and as if by magic it decided to play!    Job done eventually!

We keep having a joke together about what we are all having when she's gone! - I am to have the machine being the only one who sews!!!   I think perhaps not!   At least we can laugh about it.
