Crows Nest

We sailed just after 5pm last night.
Woke up to calm seas, a bit of mist early on, but the day evolved into a pleasantly warm one, as long as we were out of the wind!!

Captain informed us that overnight we had travelled some 340+ nautical miles and at midday we were parallel to Whitby on the east coast. We did manage to sit in the sun for a couple of hours, albeit with jeans and jumpers ;-)

There was a small fishing trawler very close to us this afternoon, we noticed it because we suddenly changed course, I'm guessing the captain was a bit worried it was too close for comfort!

We are still finding our way around the ship as she is so big......this shot is of the passenger telescope up in the Crows Nest Bar on Deck 16. We were up there for coffee only, honest!!!

Black tie dinner tonight, so best go and get my posh frock on ;-)
