Room with a view

It's not often I feel enthusiastic about an airport hotel stay, but this view, from the tenth floor of the Premier Inn at Gatwick airport 's North Terminal, makes a great change from looking out at the monorail. The window takes up a whole wall, which is fun, though there is a minatory sticker to prevent one from trying to open it.

I actually like the Premier Inn formula - and familiarity is soothing, don'tcha think?
