As signs go by,

When J met me from the gym, we drove home a different way, as I wanted to take a photo of the old shop, at the top of Newcastle Hill.  As you can see, it was a shop many years ago, and was a bit like, Open All Hours. They used to do really well. because it's at the top of a heart attack steep  hill, and on a hot day, you would call in for (A) to get your breath back (B) a cold drink or ice lolly. It's only a few yards away from the castle that I blipped yesterday.J has been out the garden all day, doing yet more preparation for our new shed, and painting the garden furniture. His back will be aching later!
