Feeding beak to beak

These two moorhen chicks were quite happily feeding themselves but kept rushing over to an adult for a tidbit.

There were six chicks and the other four can be seen in the Extra, hiding in the weeds - but not from me.

What worried me is that I could see a very large pike hiding in the shallows.....just waiting....
