A first for me!

We went out this afternoon for a very bracing walk at RSPB Frampton Marsh ....... although the sun was shining ..... the strong wind was decidedly chilly ..... definitely blew the cobwebs away ..... but it was great to be out :-)

We popped into the visitors centre when we arrived ....... we spotted this Little Ringed Plover through the window .... never seen one before! It was in a protected area so the only way I could get a photo was through the window ...... this was the result ..... really chuffed to have seen it :-)

We had quite a wander round ...... visited a couple of the hides ....... saw this lovely family of Canada geese ...... couldn't resist including them too :-)

The Extra is an Avocet on its nest on a little island.
