Cows in the backyard

I usually test the electric fence every day...okay...maybe not every day.  Last night just before dark, I was drawn to test it only to find the wire detached and no charge.  It was a quick scramble to pop the cows into a safe place just beyond the back yard till we can get it up and running again.  Chances are they would have wandered by this morning otherwise.
