Idiot
He ran in through the cat flap, launched himself onto the back of the sofa, ran the length of the sofa to get a run up and then launched himself up onto the top of the units. He then ran along the tops, to the end, where he briefly appeared to be contemplating jumping into the gap behind the CD rack - 8 ft drop, 6 X 6 inch gap, no way back up, not even for him.
He thought better of it when I shouted at him.
Didn't sleep well. Still have the headache that won't shift and breathing is still painful on one side. Bruising is moving into the manky yellow stage, which is progress. My short term memory is shot to pieces. I am now writing notes on my phone so that I know what I have gone upstairs for or gone in the kitchen to get. It's so frustrating.
Ah well, could be worse!
